joining old and new...
we approach urban and architectural design as a series of spaces. each space will attract its own response from the viewer. both internal and external space completes the work. these spaces have their past, present and future and our design references all of these as it references, respects and incorporates existing elements of a building’s past with a contemporary edge. the lightness of design is strengthened by the weight of existing structures and the silence of certain spaces which in turn gives control and authority to the piece as a whole. |

| Once the design is executed the legacy will be a ‘piece’ an ‘architecture’ that will provide the backdrop for a community/family that can continue to add a contemporary breath of life to the building and its setting. |
