was born in the midlands and studied architecture in manchester following on to postgraduate
studies at oxford brooks and london south bank
university. he is a chartered architect as a
member of the RIBA. he has been greatly
influenced by the effects of social change in post industrial society. following his studies in architecture he went on to
study fine art in norwich. he has set up a
cluster of studios for innovative art business in horwich
alongside his studio and gallery/cafe
‘historically
traditional disciplines of fine art (painting and sculpture) were bound
to architecture,
a relationship largely severed during the renaissance. my intention is
to combine the two disciplines, to work within the “gap”
and search for poetic fusions.’
